Sorensen, Vance & Company is a full-service accounting firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since 1976, we have provided excellence in accounting, audit, tax, management and consulting services to individuals, commercial businesses, non-profit and governmental organizations.

Owners and Staff
Our firm has three owners who have more than 20 years experience in public accounting. Our professional staff have been carefully selected and primarily all are CPAs including three former owners who each have more than 30 years experience in public accounting. Therefore, all personnel who provide services to clients have signficant public accounting experience and expertise.

Quality Control and Peer Review
We are required to maintain a system of quality control for our accounting and auditing practice and have a peer review of our system every three years. In 2008, we successfully completed our seventh peer review and received an unmodified report without a comment letter. This is the seventh consecutive time the firm has received an unmodified report which is the highest level of assurance that a firm can receive. We believe that these reports are an objective testimonial to the quality of our services.

Management for Results Group
Our firm is an active member of a management for results group sponsored by D.B. Scholl, Inc., a consulting firm to the accounting profession for over 30 years. The group meets annually and includes member firms from California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon and Washington. Also, membership in the group provides continuous technical consultation and service support in those areas of the Country.
